Just poke me

It's just like magic. My parents have learned that when you poke me...

Mommy has started her New Mom's group on Thursdays. There are 10 new mommies in the group. 5 baby boys and 5 baby girls. I'm so excited to have so many new friends! I know Mommy is excited to have new friends too. The mommies in the group are all very nice. After group this Thursday 5 of us babies took our mommies out to lunch. We decided the mommies needed a play date. We babies have to stick together, it's hard to be a new baby... but we each shared our experiences and decided that our mommies are doing a pretty good job - so far.

Easter!

Today is Easter. I'm very excited because the Easter bunny came and brought me some treats! I got a chick and a Winne the Pooh rattle... and apparently Mommy and Daddy got some candy, hmmm....

Mom and I have fun!

Sometimes we go for walks together. I enjoy them so much that I often fall asleep in my Maya Wrap. Mom likes the walks because her energy level is back up and she likes to get outside whenever she can.

Mom is pretty impressed that I can hold my head up already. I'm not too steady yet, but I'm getting lots of practice with tummy time. Sometimes I show off by rolling over, but sometimes I just hold my head up nice and high so that I can look around and survey my domain.

Cloth Diapers

So I've been wearing cloth diapers for a little over a week now. They're very comfortable, very stylish, and apparently they're cery easy to clean (so my parents tell me - cause you know I'm not rinsing them out!) Also I hear they're very good for the environment, and they're about 1/5 the cost of disposable (assuming a baby is fully potty-trained at 2 years old.) It makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing I'm doing something good for the planet.

Sometimes my dad makes fun of me when I cry. I guess that's ok, because I'm sure I'll mock him plenty as a teenager.
