Here's Emily and Colin picking blueberries. Colin was very helpful.
We walked beyond the crest of the hill to pick berries because the further the walk the more berries on the bush.
This was the view across from the blueberry field. Fantastic!

Tom showed off his mowhawk... Dr. Jesus is no more. Amy, as always, made Jack laugh.
On the way home Kristin, Rob, Jack and I fell asleep. (poor Matt) Once we all got home the boys (Matt and Rob) layed down for a nap. Kristin, Jack and I headed out to Old Town Ellicott City. I had read in the local paper about this new baby store. We LOVED it. They have items that you cannot find in other places (some are from online-only vendors). They're going to start selling cloth diapers... which we all know I love!
The only downside is in order to get into the store you have to climb up a stoop of about 8 stairs. So bring a friend or leave the stroller at home!
Actually Mommy did my laundry and then she needed to carry it up to my room so I decided to hitch a ride!
Cady came over to play (This was actually from Friday because sometimes Mommy is slow to upload the pictures from her camera). We had lots of fun!
I gave Mommy some home decorating tips, I just hope she listens to me...
Then I ate my dinner. Mmm Mmm good!
Mom Says:
Jack is currently eating: yams, prunes, apples, carrots, pears, rice cereal, oat ceral, wheat cereal.
Next up: squash
Currently on the bench: peas, peaches - peas (we think) are causing some gas which makes nights difficult and the peaches, well, Jack acted like we were poisoning him... so they are a no-go.
We always add formula to his cereal to sneak in a little extra nutrition. I'm sneaky like that.
We're making progress. I'm working on the first coat of actual paint (the last 3 -yes 3- coats were JUST primer.) We have also since hung the wine rack and cabinets that go right there. So now the real question if the cabinets are white, the counter top is dark greenish/black, the appliances are stainless, the back splash will be sage green with a black stripe, and the floors are a medium wood.... what color would you make the hinges and knobs? Black or Brushed Nickel?
The lunch ladies. Mrs. T. (Me with Jack) and Mrs. V. It was such a nice time and Jack behaved the entire time.
Today Jack spent some time with Mr. Gorilla with Daddy while Mommy worked.
And worked...
And worked...
Pics from Saturday still to come.
Yay! (We're using the cardboard to protect the floors from the traffic of: go out cut a board, bring it back pnail it in, take another board out cut it... etc.)
Apparently what we has been doing wrong was we should have been trying to make a racket, not trying to be quiet!
Then Jack woke up and wanted to check on the progress.
My mom and I decided to come up with some errands that needed running so that Jack wouldn't be subjected to the noises of the pneumatic nailer, table saw and miter saw all day. When we got home the only place for Jack to eat dinner was in the kitchen, like this:
At the end of the day we had already 'covered a lot of ground' so to speak.
Brenna- how is the progress going on the NCSS? I think I'm noticing a difference.
But sometimes I forget what I'm doing and fall over. Luckily Mommy is always there to catch me.
My exersaucer, which Carter is letting me borrow, is one of my favorite toys because I really like to practice standing. Watch out Mommy and Daddy!
Mommy says that babies come from a cabage patch... I wonder if this is what she means...
