Mom's group was fun. We had some tummy time and we let the Moms take fun pictures of us! Mom and I hosted this week- as always- we had a fantastic time!

Pacifiers: I've spoken with several of my friends and we have all agreed the pacifier is really a matter of personal taste. I prefer Playtex, some prefer Nuk, Avent, Soothie etc. Really this message is for the parents- If you want us to like a particular kind of pacifier because you think it's cute, you better get us hooked quick, because otherwise we'll pick our own preference.
Mom's latest purchase: The Bumbo. All during her pregnancy she talked about how dumb these seats were, but I kept showing her that, although I like my bouncy seat, sometimes I want to be able to look around a lot more than the bouncy seat allows.
I really enjoy the Bumbo because it's ergonomic, lightweight and spit-up-proof. I can look around, talk to Mommy, smile, and even bang on the Bumbo for entertainment. Whatever it's made out of- I can hit it really hard and it doesn't even hurt!
In general I would like to give a shout-out to the bib. Without the bib I would have suffered many a wardrobe malfunction as a result of accidental vomit or drool, but thanks to the bib I was able to continue on with my daily activities without worrying about an embarrassing mess. Thank you, great inventor of the bib!
When we went to the beach Jack insisted that he wear one of his pirate outfits. He's laying on the quilt that I had as a baby (my birth announcements look very similar to this picture).
Jack has his first shower at the beach because we didn't want to haul the little tub with us. One of the Moms in my New Mom's Group said this is the only way her daughter gets bathed, so we tried it for ourselves. Turns out- he likes it! Be Warned: Babies are slippery when wet!
And of course we did some tummy-time. We're getting better at remembering to do it every day. Although Jack spent most of the time sucking on his wrist.
Now I am not too small. I go to the doctor on Thursday. I wonder how tall I am and how much I weigh... I think I'm growing fast but I'm new at this so I'm not the best judge.
Today I also went to visit my friend Colin. He is one week and 3 days old. We can't wait to get bigger so we can play together and get into trouble!
