I've had my nose in a book lately. So I'm asking this question: When you read a book how do you know where to pick up when you need to put it down? Bookmark? Folded page? Or are you like my husband and you can close a book in the middle of a chapter and remember what page you were on and what paragraph you just finished?
Weird, huh?

Whatcha been reading?
I often fall asleep in bed while reading a book, so Seth will stick something in the open page to mark it. As much as I want to be a bookmark person myself, I just can't be. (Much like I want to be a calendar/planner person but just can't be.) But I NEVER remember where I was and usually end up reading pages over again.
I have one bookmark I use, but if I'm reading more than one book (which is often the case) the others get set down open to my page, print side down. Probably not the best for the book, but at least it's not folding pages. If it's a book I own and hardcover, I use the outer paper cover as a bookmark.
If its my book, I fold down the corner of the page. If its a library book (which it usually is), I used my library receipt as the bookmark.
Bookmark! Mom
I fold down the page if it's mine or the libraries. Probably not very nice to do but with my kids the book usually ends up on the floor and bookmarks or the book cover falls out and then I am lost and have to read pages again to find my place.
