Here is a step by step visual of how to grow herbs in your kitchen (or another sunny room in your house). First: order something off Amazon and when your package arrives cut the box to a shallow depth.

Second: fill that box with one inch of organic seed soil.

Third: throw in some seeds. These are rosemary seeds.

Fourth: label where each herb is placed so you don't get confused. (This says: Cilantro, Oregano, Basil, Rosemary.)

Fifth: then place by the window - beware dirt is a baby magnet if they find it, they will spill it.

Sixth: water till the soil is saturated and then cover with saran wrap to create a greenhouse effect. Don't worry this one doesn't cause global warming.

Seventh: feed the baby dinner. Yay!

Those are lovely! My mom gave me a metal basket w/ a plastic liner last year with herbs growing, so I am going to use that again to try to grow some more... I can do plants but for some reason my herbs never last as long as I'd like.
ok...so I have a million questions...I'll talk to you tomorrow hopefully!
