I also finally found a new author who has written a bunch of books not in sequence. Usually I love a good series but it's refreshing to be able to read them in any order! Jodi Picoult wrote My Sister's Keeper which was made into a movie; I never saw the movie but I started there. Apparently most of her writings are based in medical and legal drama. They would be super great for a book club because I could see getting into some interesting philosophical discussions about the content.
So that's 2 down and 10.5 to go.

I've read several Jodi Picoult books! The last one I read seemed really similar to My Sister's Keeper, which I found a bit sketchy, but she apparently does a ton of research before she writes. Definitely engaging tales!
I have read Vanishing Act and My Sister's Keeper and liked them both. It is nice to read an author whose books are each unique, not just a predictable storyline! I think I still have Vanishing Act if you want it. (I'd love to borrow 365 Buddah when you're done!) Mom
Picoult, while her topics are different they are still very similar. She does a ton of research but I caution you to read too many in a row because they are all written in the same way and it can get tedious. I do like her as well but have needed to take a break from her.
