Snow, Snow, Snow.

Thank GOD I'm an indoor cat.

I wonder how many pounds of snow are piled on our poor deck now...

If you dress me up like Stay Puff and throw me out in that I'm going to wake up in the middle of the night every night till I'm 12!

This is our current snow fall (they're calling for 10 more inches)! Remember, you have to step up 6 inches to get in our front door from the stoop. Matt just used a tape measurer on the deck snow, while frantically shoveling it off, and we have 22/24 inches already.

I heard a crash in the middle of the night, our neighbor's tree lost a big branch. We haven't seen or heard a snow plow in 12ish hours. I think they gave up on us.

My parents are on well and sewer and they haven't had power since 3am. That means no flushing, no water, and no internet. They're paralyzed. Their house is already down to 59 degrees. Smartly they rummaged around in the attic and got their propane stove out. So they will have food... for now.

Your poor parents! Hope they get power back soon!

I hadn't thought about how wide your deck is but that does make for a lot more shoveling for poor Matt. Thank goodness he's in good shape!!

Oh no - your poor parents! I'm living in fear that my power will go out and I'll have to huddle in bed with todder, dog, and cat. :)

I hope your parents are doing ok! Snow isn't as much fun without power and water!

I rummaged around in our garage to see if we had some charcoal...ok...we do. We would be able to eat.

The parentals now have power! My brother in Potomac is out, but he can just dump some vodka (or whatever) on pizza boxes and burn them in the fire place. I'm not worried
