Looking good :) How far down did you guys dig? We're trying to figure out whether to dig down a few inches or just build a box to frame in the patio. Framing it probably makes more sense but it's not nearly as pretty imo.
We already had to step down 4 inches from the slider to the ground back there; after confirming that the grading was already sloped away from the house we shifted the gravel around to make it flat and we were ready to go.
It looks great! What a difference a smooth, consistent floor surface makes! You'll use it alot this summer! (No more doing messy projects there now!) Gigi

Great job on the patio! We should try something like that on the side of our deck...looks like your To Do list is getting smaller!
